Any person who is in paid ministerial or non-ministerial employment, receiving W-2 compensation, from a Southern Baptist Church or Association that is recognized by the state convention is eligible to participate in the Church Retirement Plan. This includes full-time pastors or employees, interim pastors, and other employees who may be considered "part-time". If you SBC church already has an employer-sponsored plan with GuideStone, you can enroll online or contact us to enroll over the phone.
Employees who work at an Agency or institution affiliated with GuideStone need to speak with their Human Resources department regarding eligibility. If your SBC agency or institution already has an employer-sponsored plan with GuideStone, you may complete an enrollment application with your employer.
Your employer may have additional eligibility requirements for participating.
