What is the impact of the health care reform law on part-time employees?

The health care reform law does not require employers to cover part-time employees who work fewer than 30 hours on average per week. Although GuideStone is not required to cover part-time employees, any employee who works 20 hours or more per week is eligible to apply for coverage under the Personal Plans.

Part-time employees who are not eligible for coverage under the Personal Plans may be able to obtain coverage on health care exchanges.
