When will I get a tax form from GuideStone?

All participants who receive a distribution from their Employer-Sponsored Retirement Plans, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) or investment accounts receive a tax form from GuideStone for the tax year in which the distribution was received.

The Affordable Care Act mandates that GuideStone provide the IRS information regarding employees' and their dependents' employer-sponsored group health care coverage. IRS Form 1095-B reports your coverage under the GuideStone plan. IRS Form 1095-B is your proof of minimum essential coverage for the months indicated to satisfy the Individual Mandate under the Affordable Care Act. You will need the information on these forms in order to complete your personal tax returns.

Tax forms are mailed to participants in the year following the distribution according to the delivery schedule in the table below. GuideStone also provides up to five years of tax forms to view and print online in MyGuideStone®.
